2012 - Love and Hope
Our theme this year is, "Love and Hope." Love involves both our relationship to God and our relationship to others. Christian love is an expression in words, attitudes, and actions of the heart of our Savior. To truly love others as Christ loves them, we must be filled with the Holy Spirit. This year we will be looking at how we can be transformed in our love for God and our love for people.
Hope is our confident expectation that Jesus is coming again. We will be looking at what the Bible says about last things this year. The study of these things will bring a blessing to those who hear, and it will bring motivation for us to share Christ with other people. Jesus could come at any moment!

Our Evangelistic Emphasis
Matthew 28:18-20 challenges us to make disciples of all nations. We are doing several things this year to make progress in this goal:
Monthly Evangelism Training: On the third Sunday of each month, we will be providing training during the Sunday Evening service to help our people be better equipped to share Christ with other people.
A Weekly Evangelistic Challenge: Each week we will have a challenge placed in our church bulletin. These challenges will help develop skills such as building relationships with people you do not know, memorizing Scripture to use in evangelism, prayers that are essential for evangelism, and specific actions to take as we share Christ.
Monthly Visitation of Lost People: Each month we will be planning to share with who do not know Jesus Christ. This will be a great way to get on-the-job-training in how to share the message about Christ.
Our challenge for this year is for each active member to share Christ with at least one person this year.
We are trusting Christ to move in the lives of each of us as well as in the lives of people who do not know Jesus Christ.
