Our Philosophy

Our philosophy of children's ministry is simple... every child is significant. We believe that the church should be a place where children can come and experience the love of God through learning His word, being taught by caring teachers, and having fun through recreation and fellowship.  We want the children who come to South Clinton to leave here with a genuine love for God and His church. Children have a special place in God's kingdom and we believe that He can work in them and through them in amazing ways.

Children's Ministries

Sunday School

We have exciting things for children at SCBC in Sunday School. With fun and interactive teaching, your child will enjoy and learn about Jesus in a whole new way. Sunday school is every Sunday morning at 9:45 am. We have classes from nursery to fifth grade. Come and experience how God is growing and changing the lives of our children at SCBC!

Other Ministry Opportunities
Bible Buddies ( Childrens Church program) meets every other Sunday during the morning worship service. This is a time when worship and teaching is focused on children. With games, skits, movies, snacks, and crafts their is something for every child to enjoy! All Children between the ages of 4 and 8 are invited to attend.

Do you like to sing or act? Do you like to use the musical talents God has given you? Our childrens choir meets every Sunday morning during the last half of Sunday School. Our children here at SCBC are learning the most modern worship music. They perform at special concerts and services throughout the year. All ages are encouraged to attend.

TeamKID (Wednesday Night)

TeamKID (Kids In Discipleship) is a fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him. Every part of TeamKID—Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application and recreation—all connect to teach life lessons to kids.
