Worship Grow Serve
Vision Explanation:
Our vision statement is a three step process that we believe each Christian needs to take to reach their full potential for Christ. Every Christian needs to be regularly involved in the Worship Service (Worship), then needs to be involved in Sunday School (Grow), then needs to be involved in service (Serve) in the church and evangelistic service in the community. Each member is encouraged to make it his/her goal to both personally be involved in each step and also to encourage others to take each step.
What We Believe
The members of South Clinton Baptist Church believe that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God. We also believe that all men are separated from God by sin, and that the only way to experience a relationship with God is through accepting the free gift of salvation that comes only through His Son, Jesus Christ. Each person receives this gift through personal repentance from sin and trusting Jesus to forgive him/her based upon His promise to do so. Our beliefs are best summed up by the Baptist Faith and Message adopted by the 2000 meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Denominational Affiliation
We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Tennessee Baptist Convention, and the Clinton Baptist Association. We support these organizations by giving them a portion of our tithes.
